Why Plane&Coffee was created:

Plane&Coffee was created for a host of reasons other than just to provide information to aspiring pilots and aviation enthusiasts alike - it was created because of the emergence of various sources which now provide information for a price, and while monetization in and of itself isn't a bad thing, to put essential information behind a paywall simply prevents others from getting information that could otherwise have helped them enter the industry.

A lot of student pilots and those looking to jump into aviation are overwhelmed by the amount of information online - it's not that there isn't enough of it, it's that there's too much of it, a lot of which simply isn't either accurate, or is outdated. Additionally, while YouTube videos and channels provide a great deal of information for free, it's extremely time consuming, and for a novice to look at all of these sources of information and figure out what is correct and what's applicable to them according to their situation, simply isn't easy, and to charge people for that is not ideal either.

We believe an individual should be educated to the point where, if you were to make two industry professionals sit down with them and provide information contrary to each others' point of view, the individual should be able to independently tell who's right and who's wrong, or who's the one with updated and accurate information. Simply put, the individual should be able to have a solid foundation of knowledge in place to the point where they can tell which sources are correct and current, and which aren't.

Plane&Coffee's goal is to help you achieve the above in as simple a manner and in as little time as possible, and it is always open to feedback, because we believe in making aviation more approachable for those who are truly passionate, and we remain committed to accuracy and keeping everything up to date.
